Founded as the premier platform for thought leadership in electronic music the International Music Summit is an educational, inspirational and motivational thought leadership platform dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, electronic music, the artistry related to DJ-ing and all related popular art forms, mainly through the presentation of summits and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of the genre to art and culture worldwide. The IMS is an intense networking platform with both Back to Business ethos and the glamour and glitz of Pete Tong's favorite party island Ibiza, and considered strong competitor to the annuanl Miami Winter Music Conference.
Founded in 2008 by BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong & partners Ben Turner, Danny Whittle, Mark Netto and Simeon Friend it provides a place to do business, network and learn about the latest developments for leading executives and artists in the electronic music industry. Famous DJs and artists will come to IBIZA to be part of this years unrivalled agenda of business sessions.
The 9th INTERNATIONAL MUSIC SUMMIT gathering will take place in the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and is considered the kick off of the Ibiza party season.
